This book is a subsidiary directory of almost 1700 fish from the Balck Sea and freshwater sources of Georgia. It is based on two centuries of zoological collections of the National Museum of Georgia and the scientific papers of the authors. The book discusses bioecological data, size, weight, age spawning period, fecundity, distribution of fish and conservation status. There are in total 168 species, 61 species inhabit freshwater, 77 inhabit sea and 30 species are transitory. 13 species within Georgia are included in the Red List.
