“The Revived Legend of Mukhrani“ is a work based on extensive documentation, photographs, written records, and transmissions, focusing on the life and activities of 19th-century public figure, entrepreneur, and patron Ivane Bagration-Mukhranbaton (1812-1895), and the hardest obstacles he and his ancestors had to overcome. It is a story about the success he achieved through his hard work, fight, and European aspirations, which brought renown to his wonderful estate and production, and then was destroyed and deserted due to the ravages of time and human actions.

The revival of the roof-broken and century-old dust-filled estate, palace, and the legacy of its owner was undertaken by JSC Chateau Mukhrani, which is dedicated to reviving Iv. Mukhranbatoni’s agricultural and cultural heritage since 2002.
